Tuesdays will be a day for sharing.
Sharing sometimes involves accepting rather than offering something. For example, when someone offers you something to eat that you know you will hate. You graciously accept because you know they spent time and effort preparing something for you. Or when a child offers to help you in the kitchen. You know you can accomplish the task faster and better by yourself but you concede in order to allow them to feel the pride in accomplishing something and instilling responsibility in them. You are exercising sharing and not rejection.
It is good to keep in mind that caring comes first, then sharing. Caring is the cause; sharing is the effect. If you share only to make a name or reputation for yourself it really does not count. It must be done unselfishly.
Many times people want to share something with us we want know part of. It is good to know their motivation for wanting to share. If it is something harmful to us (sweets for a diabetic) could we possibly explain our position in a tactful manner?
I would like to use Tuesdays to share my favorite things and learn about yours. Time saving tips, recipes, memories, victories, fears, tears, music, blog sites, etc. So on this Tuesday I would like to share my favorite blogger with you. You may have already heard about Mrs. G over at derfwadmanor.blogspot.com but if you have not --you can thank me later. She is too good not to share!
